So You’ve Hired a Pet Sitter. Now What?

Allowing a new pet sitter into your home can be a little bit uncomfortable for some since you are trusting a new person to not only care for your pet, but your home as well. We want to be sure that you’re completely comfortable with us to care for your pets as well as to take care of your home while you’re away.
A pet sitter’s general job description is something like this: “ensuring that a client’s pet stays healthy, is fed and clean, and gets attention when their human cannot be there.” But, at Raleigh Pawz, we believe the job is not generic since we customize our service to fit your needs.
Every home is different. Each client and each pet is different, and they can have unique needs and likes. That’s why we customize each visit to match your pet’s needs, likes, dislikes, and of course, your desires.
If a Client is a Dog Owner:
For households where Raleigh Pawz employees are caring for dog(s), a visit includes a walk or ample fenced in backyard time (depending on what you prefer for your pet). We give lots of attention and TLC. We play and have fun with your dog to help them get out that energy that can build up during the day. We’ll refresh your pup’s water dish, feed as requested, and give oral medications if your dog needs it and it is requested.
If a Client is a Cat Owner:
We will feed your cat, refresh kitty’s water bowl and clean the litter box. Along with cleaning the inside of the litter box, our pet sitters will also clean up around the box too. No one likes the crunch of kitty litter under their feet- bare or socks! We play with your cat(s) and cuddle with them if they enjoy that sort of attention. And these things all happen during every visit!
