Canine Shopping Gets A Personal Touch With New AKC Shop

The American Kennel Club (AKC®), the leading advocate for dogs, is pleased to announce a new online shopping experience with the launch of The AKC® Shop.

The online store features products that leverage the AKC’s extensive knowledge in dog breeds, health & training.  In addition to traditional products to best suit dogs’ individual needs, the AKC Collections include unique offerings such as Made-in-America organic grooming products, special beds for dogs with burrowing instincts, outdoor products with integrated insect repelling technology, and a special toy line designed just for Sporting dogs. Shoppers can also find exclusive AKC illustrated merchandise in curated collections to show off their favorite breed.

“The new AKC shop is a reflection of our commitment to the health and well-being of all dogs,” states Alexandra Aleskovsky, EVP and Chief Growth Officer of the AKC. “We are providing consumers a unique experience that combines over 100 years of knowledge with the current and evolving needs of pets and their owners. We want our customers to know that we’re building a relationship with them to obtain the best possible products for their dogs.”

To enhance their shopping experience, customers will also get health and training tips from trusted AKC experts such as Dr. Jerry Klein, Chief Veterinary Officer of the AKC and Dr. Mary Burch, Director of the AKC Canine Good Citizen program.

New and unique products will be added to the shop on a weekly basis.
