Get your running shoes ready! The Santa Paws 5K event is quickly approaching. This event supports the SPCA of Wake County and all proceeds benefit homeless pets. This is a certified 5K race event, with dogs…so start training now. This 5K run is a USATF sanctioned, timed event. This is for a great cause and with the holidays just around the corner, doesn’t it make sense to get some extra exercise in? Registration deadline is November 13, 2016.
If you don’t feel like running and just want to support the event or the organization, that would be fabulous! See details below.

How do I get involved?
RUN: You can run competitively or just for fun – with or without your dog.
All participants must maintain at least a 16-min mile, running or walking.
DONATE: Would you like to support a runner’s fundraising efforts with a donation?
Select the “Donate” button at the top of the page. From here you can search for the name of the participant or team’s home page. This will credit your gift to your selected participant.
STAY AT HOME: Would you give a small donation to the SPCA to stay in bed on Sunday morning and not to run 5 kilometers?
We can make that happen! Join the Race in our Race to the Couch category.
I’ve already registered to walk, how do I access My Participant Center?
If you already logged on, an Participant Center button will appear on the upper right of this page directly above the thermometer. Don’t see a button? Follow these simple instructions.
