Raleigh Pet Sitters. Where to start? Professional, easy to work with and I trust them entering our property to care for our pet. Being assigned a dedicated pet sitter throughout the years extends that trust even further. We love the daily updates of the vacation pet visit that includes pictures from that day’s visit. While we are away it gives that extra bit of reassurance that not only our pet is cared for but also that nothing is amiss at our property. We enjoy the extra services of bringing in the mail, taking out the trash/recyclables to the curb and watering the plants. Paying for a service such as this removes the anxiety of finding someone for pet care and removes the awkward feeling of indebtedness to friends and/or neighbors because this is a paid service. Raleigh Pet Sitters is very organized and do a good job. They have been in business a long time which is why I don't worry about them entering my home when I'm away. I use them for vacation pet sitting, and they will do house-sitting tasks as well like watering plants, bringing in mail, and rotating lights. All the prior stress of finding someone reliable and CARING for my little guys no longer exists. What I love about the service is the consistency of care from all of the sitters we've had, and I've been lucky to have the same fantastic sitter, Kelly, for most of our recent trips. Another thing that sets this service apart from others are the updates I receive via email after each visit. I can be thousands of miles away, but can see the posted pics of my guys and read the updates from the sitter, and know they are well.Their website is easy to use to schedule service, and their communications method with both the home office and your sitter is great! There have been several times where I've had to get messages to them and I've always received a quick response.

I have had my dog for 14 years. Every time I've gone out of town my parents have kept the dog at their house. This year that was not an option for an 8-day trip we were taking. Their staff was so kind to your dog, feeding him, loving on him, taking him out to do his business. They sent photos and a written brief after each visit.One thing I would recommend, if you can afford it. Pay for the day before you leave, or day of, for them to come to your home while you're there. Even though they do a free in-house visit when you sign up, it was worth the cost to have them practice while we were home.

I don’t even know where to start! I don’t know what I would do without them. I moved from NY to Raleigh for medical school. It can be incredibly challenging not having family to help with my two little guys (Duke and ranger). Raleigh pet sitters had been there to help me with grooming appointments, last minute emergency walks when I get stuck at the hospital and just day to day walks as I’ve needed. We have 1 dog with severe anxiety and 1 dog with arthritis, so when our dog sitter moved away, we were nervous to try anyone new. Doing the quick Zoom consultation made sure the sitters had all the right info. We were lucky enough to have Kelly who adapted the scheduling once she met our anxious dog. We could tell that taking care of our dogs was her top priority, and each visit we got 5-6 photos and a long description of how things went. We’ve been using Raleigh Pet Sitters since 2009 for our cats. They are very responsive with our visiting requests, just a few minutes after sending an email to get it scheduled. And the two sitters we’ve had have been very good. They write up a report at the end of the final visit talking about each cat and how they did, whether they were playful, wistful, etc. I would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable sitter with a personal touch.

I have used Raleigh Pet Sitters for at least 4 years and they are WONDERFUL! I recommend them to all of my friends. They are so wonderful with my 2 cats and spend time with them at every visit playing with them and brushing them in addition to the normal pet sitting tasks. I’ve used 2 sitters there and both have been just wonderful and very caring. (They do) a great job hiring people who truly love and care about animals. Colleen has been our pet sitting for the last year and she always spends the full 30 min at the house, send me pics of the cats and is thoughtful she even brings in the mail and checks on the house in general at every visit. We LOVE Raleigh Pet Sitters and it allows us to not worry while we are away as we know our boys are in good and safe hands and allows the cats to stay home in their safe environment instead of having to be boarded. Highly recommend them. Very caring people and extremely professional!

The RPS walkers clearly love their clients

RPS have been walking our 7 month old Schnoodle puppy 5 days a week for several months now and I couldn’t wish for better dog walkers! The RPS walkers clearly love their clients and their pets! We often bump into them walking other dogs in the area and they are always happy and interacting with the dogs. They also leave us written notes after every walk to let us know what they did during their visit, and of any unusual behaviors we might need to know about. The dog walkers are good friends with professional dog trainers in the area, and they own there own family dogs, and are therefore very knowledgeable and informative. Payment is easily done via several mechanisms, we prefer Venmo which is very simple and immediate. Scheduling and re-rescheduling has never been an issue, even with last minute changes!

Highly recommend Raleigh Pet Sitters to look after your fur-babies while away! They come to your home and spend time with your pets along with making sure their water, food and bathroom needs are met. They also leave a daily report. I have 2 cats, one of which typically has separation anxiety, and they both respond well to the pet sitter and seem completely content and comfortable when I return home. Also I find their rates competitive. They respond very quickly to your inquiry and immediately reserve a pet sitter for the dates you need even if its a Holiday. Professional service and peace of mind.
